Sergei Prokofiev Romeo and Juliet excerpts
Experience Prokofiev's timeless classic, Romeo and Juliet alongside a rare Scottish performance of Beethoven's Triple Concerto.
Having dazzled audiences in 2024, the Amatis Trio returns to perform Beethoven’s Triple Concerto, side-by-side with Scotland's national youth orchestra, in the bicentenary year of the composer's death. Conductor Jamie Phillips, praised for his “dynamic presence on the podium”, leads the orchestra in a programme bursting with virtuosity and excitement, culminating in the timeless drama of Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet.
