Audition Excerpts

For all instruments except percussion, you are required to record performances of TWO excerpts.

For percussion, specific instructions can be found in the excerpt booklets.

Excerpts for doubling instruments can be found in the relevant instrument excerpt booklet, e.g. piccolo excerpts are in the flute booklets.

Please choose the excerpts that you believe demonstrate your playing abilities. These can be both taken from the same booklet or you can play one from each booklet. We recommend speaking to your tutor about your selection to make sure that it shows off your skills.
