Scottish Horn Day 2026

The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland presents Scottish Horn Day 2026, sponsored by the British Horn Society, on Sunday 18 October 2026.

Joined by visiting guest composer-player Kerry Turner of the America Horn Quartet, the day is jam-packed with performances, workshop sessions, masterclasses, horn-related talks and directed ensembles for all ages and levels of experience.

Activities include:

• Horn ensemble workshops with Kerry Turner
• Newly discovered repertoire performed by RCS natural horn tutor Anneke Scott
• Posture for Horn players with the musician's osteopath Andrew Patterson
• Wagner Tuba sessions
• Instrument maintenance
• Directed ensembles
