Applications for the Hallé Youth Ensembles 2026-27 is now open!

The Hallé actively welcomes applications from under-represented groups and is committed to reflecting the great diversity of Greater Manchester in all areas of its work. Their ensembles are open to all talented young musicians and we guarantee an inclusive environment where everyone can develop to their full potential. The Hallé encourages applications from people with specific access needs and are happy to help with your application process.

With weekly rehearsals in Manchester, the Hallé provides its youth members with experiences like no other. Highlights include performing throughout the year at The Bridgewater Hall, working at the highest level with professional musicians, performing alongside the Hallé Orchestra, performing across the UK and Europe on residential courses and tours and meeting like-minded young people who share their passion for music and performing.
