Scottish Schools Orchestra Trust Play Away Day

Join the Scottish Schools Orchestra Trust for a fun and inspiring Play Away Day on Sunday 1 March, 10am - 4pm, at Hutcheson's Grammar School, Glasgow. 

This friendly, one-day event is a fantastic opportunity for young musicians to enjoy making music together in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The day is especially suited to anyone who would like a taste of a national music-making experience without the pressure of auditions. It is open to all abilities from approximately grades 2-8 and ages 9-15 who play an orchestral or wind band instrument.

The Play Away Day is open to young musicians from both the formal and informal sectors and no prior SScOT experience is needed - all are very welcome! Musicians will work with experienced tutors, rehearse exciting repertoire, and enjoy the buzz of playing as part of a larger ensemble - a brilliant way to build confidence, meet other young musicians, and have fun through music!
