BBC Radio Scotland Young Classical Musician 2026

Calling all young musicians - don't miss your chance to BBC Radio Scotland Young Classical Musician 2026!

The Award is open to students age 18-24 years who live in Scotland or are currently enrolled in full time education in Scotland (or who are in full time education outside Scotland and their parents/guardians live in Scotland). 

The final takes place on Saturday 30 May 2026 with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra at City Halls, Glasgow. The winner is awarded the title of BBC Radio Scotland Young Classical Musician 2026 and a performance on a BBC Radio Scotland programme. The event is also broadcast live on BBC Radio Scotland.
