UPDATE - Thursday 4 December 2025:

We are pleased to announce that Creative Scotland has confirmed NYOS will join the Multi-Year Funding portfolio in April 2026 with two further years of multi-year funding. This support enables us to continue delivering impactful projects and working towards our vision of a Scotland where all communities access world-class ensemble youth music-making and share in its social, personal, and cultural benefits.

We have a very exciting programme of activities and concerts in 2026 that we are looking forward to sharing with you.

We are delighted to have received a substantial uplift to our Creative Scotland funding in the latest multi-year funding award round towards our work in 2025-26, and commitment in principle to sustaining this level of financial support for a further two years.

This increase in funding from Creative Scotland, alongside the exceptional support of our network of funders, will enable us to continue with our ambitious programme of work that celebrates the talents and commitments of Scotland’s wonderful young musicians and works towards our vision of all Scotland’s communities accessing and sharing in the social, personal, and cultural benefits of youth music-making.

We welcome Creative Scotland’s investment in our development as an organisation and take this opportunity to reflect on the incredible progress that has been made following our extensive strategic review in 2022.
