Each year we must raise in excess of £500,000 to maintain the many orchestral residential courses, tours and outreach programmes that we offer in order to support Scotland’s talented young musicians.
It is fundamental to our mission that our orchestras are open and accessible to all in Scotland.
The assistance we receive from our supporters is vital and allows us to offer Scotland’s exceptional young musicians a wide variety of classical and jazz projects. We are especially grateful to NCOS supporters Fiona and Peter Foyle of the Framework Gallery in Troon, who, in response to the NCOS appeal have generously offered to donate a percentage of the sales from their forthcoming exhibition towards the work of NCOS. A donation to the work of NYOS enables us to educate, inspire and transform the lives of hundreds of children and young people from across Scotland. NYOS offers its students unrivalled opportunities to study classical, jazz and contemporary classical music.
