NYOS Strings

Consisting of string players from a selection of NYOS' ensembles, NYOS Strings performs throughout the year at various intimate venues around Scotland.

This accomplished string ensemble consistently delivers critically acclaimed performances, collaborates with professional music organisations and often premières new commissions from Scotland's foremost composers.
  

Membership of NYOS Strings is by invitation.

Fiona Robertson - Violin

Fiona Robertson's Grandmother bought her her first Violin when she was five.  Since then Fiona has travelled internationally with NYOS ensembles. Fiona believes performing with NYOS Strings has boosted her confidence.
