NYOS Camerata is the showcase, pre-professional chamber ensemble of The National Youth Orchestras of Scotland. Successfully bridging the gap between youth orchestra and professional ensemble, it comprises senior and recent past members of NYOS.

NYOS Camerata - Berwick Festival Opera
In 23 & 24 August 2014 NYOS Camerata joined the professional musicians of the Hebrides Ensemble for two performances as part of the Berwick Festival Opera in the historic Guildhall performing Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll and act one of Jonathan Dove’s arrangement of Die Walküre. NYOS Camerata's Four Day Residency on the Isle of Uist

During the four day residency outreach worker Eve Harrison created a brand new composition with members of the orchestra in collaboration with participating Liniclate pupils. They also devised and directed primary school workshops at two hubs in the north and south of the archipelago gave performances, conducted by Garry Walker and participated in a professional recording session.
